The Trans-Alarm Story
|
| Lee Smith, a veteran Northwest Airline pilot, founded Trans-Alarm in 1966. He saw the need for a simple and effective system that could transmit alarm signals directly to the police - an innovative concept at the time. Three decades later, Dave and Rick Smith continue to grow the business, building on a tradition of technical leadership and the sense of caring, fairness and excellent customer service that created the foundation for the Company. Through expansion into related areas, such as lock and door control, card access and closed circuit video, Trans-Alarm continues to offer a level of service reflected in many national awards.
